Being eighteen is all about achieving maturity, authority and responsibility. OrSome key things I think I missed to be acquainted with when I was 18.

1. WHAT YOU DO IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HOW YOU LOOK

Sitting around looking pretty will not get you where you want to be. And in 10 years, very few people will even care what you look like. Go DO what you were put on this planet to do.

2. LEARN YOUR LESSONS THE FIRST TIME 

As Albert Einstein defined insanity as the repetition of same things and expecting different results. So avoid being insane. Accept the fact he/ she doesn’t loves you, you are not meant to be an Science Student, Drinking regularly isn’t that cool ~ the first time and move on.

3. PEOPLE WILL COME IN & OUT OF YOUR LIFE

People come & people go. Say what you need to say ~ always. Then be willing to wish them well and let them go. Never be stuck to that what is gone.

4. ITS ALL YOUR LIFE

Thanks to 3 Idiots, now its easier to make people understand that life isn’t their Dad’s expectations or Mum’s Happiness. So next time while making choices remember that we all are the only responsible for our own happiness.

5. YOU WILL FALL, BOTH LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY. GET BACK UP 

Whether it’s the path to your college or path of life, you are gonna fall that’s for sure. So always be ready to fall and get back up quickly. Learn from the mistakes and resume from where you left.

6. PUT DOWN YOUR PHONE AND LOOK AROUND

Life is too beautiful and happening! Just put down your phone. Look around at nature, at a baby’s smile, try to meet people at places other than WhatsApp and Facebook.

7. TELL YOUR PARENTS YOU LOVE THEM EVERY CHANCE YOU GET

You never know what you got till its gone. We never have an idea what hardships parents face. So Love them, Respect them, that’s all what they desire.

8. STEP OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE

There’s no room for adventure and excitement in your comfort zone; stretch the limits a little ! Not only your life becomes more exciting, but you will also build confidence and improve your luck.

9. DON’T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF, BUT DO SWEAT AT THE GYM

Your Health is everything. Never be worried and tensed for little things in life. Do your part and have patience. Never ignore the importance of exercise.

10. IT’S NEVER TOO LATE

Sometimes it may feel like that. Some days it may feel like that a lot. But it’s never too late. You’re still breathing, so it’s not too late.
