Making resolutions is easy, sticking to them isn’t. 90% of the people who make resolutions fail miserably. Why? Well because of the reasons mentioned below. Go through them and have a clearer idea about how to stick to your resolutions.
1) Set Realistic Goal
It would be highly idiotic if you are currently at 30% or above body fat and plan to get down to a single percent body fat, in just a month or two, naturally. Always set a practical and a realistic fitness goal. Also, you can divide your goal into micro goals that you can chase overtime.
2) Have Deadlines
Deadline keeps you on track and you often work harder to match the same. A lot of people fail in their fitness resolutions due to lack of a deadline. It actually works as a motivating factor and helps you to work towards your goal. Therefore, set a deadline and work towards it.

3) Make Your Resolution Go Public
Well, trust me, this works. Some fears can be favorable. Making your resolution public gives you a psychological boost to achieve it. Moreover, declaring your resolution socially, often bounds you to stick to it for a longer run, especially if your circle keeps reminding you or taking updates from you about your progress.
4) Visualize And You Are Half There
Now, this principle is based on the law of attraction. You need to keep visualizing the new and transformed version of yourself. Stay positive and believe in yourself that you can achieve what you have been imagining. A constant vivid image of your dream body ought to be in your mind and it should motivate you to hit the gym, in order to take you a step closer to it. Don’t just keep dreaming though, you still got to work out!

5) Find A Likeminded Partner
A likeminded partner with a similar goal can be beneficial to you. However, make sure your partner should be either equal or more dedicated than you. Partnering up with someone who is not serious about his goal can put a negative impact on you as well. Therefore, choose your partner wisely, who could boost you to conquer your fitness resolution.
6) Plan A Reward
Now this could be optional, but can be useful for many. Plan a reward on your goal accomplishment. It could be a cheat meal or may be cheat day (prefer cheat meal) or may be something materialistic like some apparel or an accessory. We all want rewards, don’t we!
