Fat loss isn’t impossible. The choices we make while training to lose fat makes it a tedious and irritating journey. New Year is closing in and instead of making the age old ‘I’ll join a gym’ kind of stupid resolution, look at yourself in the mirror, naked, and make up your mind. If you really are serious about your fat loss, you need to keep these 3 things in mind and you will start acting accordingly.

1) Assuming Self-Responsibility

Yeah, you love your body and all that jazz but your love has only gotten you fatter and a step closer to diabetes. The most crucial thing to start fat loss is self realization. Accept the fact that you are fat and you have made mistakes—dietary and lifestyle. This is your first step to turn your life around. Hold yourself responsible. Stop saying that ‘I don’t have time to work out’ and ‘oh I just can’t quit this habit’. Take responsibility and work towards it.

2) Commitment And Sacrifice

Any type of change requires focused commitment and balls to make sacrifices. Fat loss requires the same. Commit to a goal that you need to shed fat and make due sacrifices that are needed to reach that goal. If you keep being a wussy and cheat on your diet or workout, you will remain the same and you surely would be more frustrated than ever. You need to change in order for your body to change.

3) Nutrition, Workout And Acceptance Towards Failure

If you are serious about your fat loss, first of all, get your nutrition sorted. Consult a qualified trainer and chuck out the junk that has gotten you fat. Eat according to your goal. The diet can be weekly or monthly. Your eating patterns will change as the weighing scale starts to fluctuate. Same goes for your workout. The biggest thing there though, is the inevitable failure. There will be times when you wouldn’t make any progress, suck at training and cheat your diet. That’s alright. That’s just human. The ability to take failure by the balls and bounce back will decide your success and failure. Stay strong!
